MEMBERS FOLLOW-UP
Med-Dogs provides follow-up to its beneficiaries for the duration of their participation in the program, including after certification. These follow-ups include communication by video call, phone call, email and text message, home visits, public information, documents and networking.
Our trainers are available at all times to answer questions and resolve various cases related to assistance dogs. If communication with them is not sufficient, they will make a home visit or a training follow-up to resolve the problem.
Med-Dogs is committed to supporting you in the integration of your assistance dog into your living environment. The most common challenges are universal access and discrimination, as well as the ability to travel. Despite federal and provincial laws, discrimination issues may arise in connection with the presence of your service dog. The Med-Dogs team will always be available to help you when you are a victim of discrimination or when you are denied access to a place. We can also help you prepare for traveling with your service dog.
